How to play: When the game starts a balloon will appear with a picture and the word will be pronounced. Click the bouncing balloon as many times as you can to get points. After the balloon bounces off the page, another balloon will appear with a new word. There will now be two balloons and the vocabulary will be reviewed. Each time you hear a word, click on the matching picture. Five to six words will be introduced in this way.
What is learned: This activity introduces a group of words one at a time. The students will learn the vocabulary in the game. Getting the most out of the activity: Repeat the words that you hear. Think about each word and picture as you say it. Group activities: Print out pictures of 5 or 6 words (use the picture dictionary) and tape them to a ball. Toss the ball around. Each student must say the word that is facing up when he catches the ball. Repeat until each student has caught the ball a few times.
Come si gioca: Quando si inizia il gioco, apparirà un palloncino con dentro una figura e allo stesso tempo si potrà ascoltare la parola corrispondente alla figura. Clicca sul palloncino rimbalzante quante più volte possibili per ottenere punti. Quando il palloncino sarà rimbalzato fuori dalla pagina, ne apparirà uno nuovo con dentro una figura nuova. A questo punto ti troverai con due palloncini nel riquadro e potrai ripassare il vocabolario. Ogni volta che ascolterai una parola, clicca sull’immagine corrispondente. In questo modo verranno introdotte cinque o sei parole nuove.
Che cosa si impara: Quest’attività introduce, una alla volta, un gruppo di parole nuove. Grazie a questo gioco, gli alunni potranno accrescere il loro vocabolario.
Ottieni il massimo da questa attività: Ripeti le parole che ascolti. Rifletti su ognuna di esse e pensa a come le hai pronunciate.
Attività di gruppo: Stampa le immagini corrispondenti a 5 o 6 parole (usa il dizionario illustrato) e incollale su un palloncino. Tira il palloncino in aria. Ogni alunno deve pronunciare la parola che si trove di fronte quando afferra il palloncino. Ripeti il gioco fino a quando ciascun alunno non abbia afferrato il palloncino più volte.
