When I was student at the university my life was very different.	لما كنت طالبة فى الجامعة حياتى كانت مختلفة تماماً
I never woke up before 9:30 in the morning.	ماكنتش بأصحى قبل ٩:٣٠
I got up at 10:00, bathed, and dressed quickly.	كنت بأقوم, أستحمى, و ألبس بسرعة
I put on pants and a T-shirt or a sweater.	كنت بألبس بنطلون و تيشرت أو بلوفر
I almost never had breakfast;	تقريباً عمرى ما فطرت
I did not like the food in the cafeteria,	ماحبتش الأكل فى الكافيتريا
and besides, I didn't have time.	و كمان ماكنش عندى وقت
I went to my classes without eating,	كنت بأروح المحاضرات من غير ما أكُل
but then I ate at noon with my friends in the snack bar.	بس كنت بأكل الظهر مع زملائى فى الكافيتريا
I spent the afternoons with my boyfriend.	كنت بأقضى بعد الظهر مع خطيبى
At night I watched a little TV and studied.	و بالليل كنت بأتفرج شوية على التليفزيون و أذاكر
I never went to bed before midnight.	عمرى ما رحت أنام قبل نص الليل
Sometimes it was one or two in the morning.	أحياناً كنت بأروح أنام الساعة واحدة أو إثنين الصبح
Although my daily schedule was much more flexible then-	على الرغم من إن جدولى اليومى كان أكثر مرونة
I was not restricted by the tyranny of the clock	ماكنتش محكومة بالوقت
like now - there were many pressures and much stress.	زى دلوقتى - كان عندى ضغوط كثيرة
There was always so much to do:	و كنت دايماً مشغولة
so many tasks, so many readings, so many tests.	واجب كثير, قرأة كثير, إمتحانات كثيرة
Sometimes I had too much work.	أحياناً كنت بأكون مشغولة جداً
