When I was student at the university my life was very different.	わたしがだいがくせいのとき、わたしのせいかつはとてもたいへんでした。
I never woke up before 9:30 in the morning.	あさ、くじさんじゅっぷんまえに、おきたことがありませんでした。
I got up at 10:00, bathed, and dressed quickly.	じゅうじにおきて、トイレにいって、すぐにふくをきました。
I put on pants and a T-shirt or a sweater.	ズボンをはいて、ティーシャツかセーターをきました。
I almost never had breakfast;	ほとんど、あさごはんをたべたことがありませんでした。
I did not like the food in the cafeteria,	しょくどうのたべものがきらいでした。
and besides, I didn't have time.	そして、じかんがありませんでした。
I went to my classes without eating,	たべないで、じゅぎょうにいきました。
but then I ate at noon with my friends in the snack bar.	でも、じゅうにじに、ともだちといっしょに、スナックバーでたべました。
I spent the afternoons with my boyfriend.	ごごは、かれしといっしょにじかんをすごしました。
At night I watched a little TV and studied.	よるは、テレビをすこしみて、べんきょうしました。
I never went to bed before midnight.	しんやになっても、ねたことがありませんでした。
Sometimes it was one or two in the morning.	ときどき、ごぜんいちじかにじにねました。
Although my daily schedule was much more flexible then-	わたしのまいにちのよていは、とてもかえやすく、そして
I was not restricted by the tyranny of the clock	じかんにしばられていませんでした。
like now - there were many pressures and much stress.	いまのように、プレッシャーがおおくて、ストレスがたくさんありました。
There was always so much to do:	することがたくさんありました。
so many tasks, so many readings, so many tests.	たくさんのしゅくだい、たくさんのどくしょ、たくさんのテスト。
Sometimes I had too much work.	ときどき、わたしはべんきょうしすぎていました。
