How to play: Click any of the letters to guess the saying. When you have guessed all the letters, you will hear the saying and see a picture to illustrate it.

What is learned: Most languages have everyday expressions. Students learn the alphabet and some everyday expressions.

Getting the most out of the activity: Repeat each word or phrase that you hear.

Group activities: Have children take turns guessing a letter.

 A caballo regalado no se le miran colmillos.  A bad tree does not yield good apples. Mas vale pájaro en mano que cientos volando.  A bad workman blames his tools. ¡Si así llueve, que no escampe!  A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Si así es el camino, ¿como será la montaña?  A broken friendship may be soldered but will never be sound.
