How to play: When the game starts a balloon will appear with a picture and the word will be pronounced. Click the bouncing balloon as many times as you can to get points. After the balloon bounces off the page, another balloon will appear with a new word. There will now be two balloons and the vocabulary will be reviewed. Each time you hear a word, click on the matching picture. Five to six words will be introduced in this way.
What is learned: This activity introduces a group of words one at a time. The students will learn the vocabulary in the game. Getting the most out of the activity: Repeat the words that you hear. Think about each word and picture as you say it. Group activities: Print out pictures of 5 or 6 words (use the picture dictionary) and tape them to a ball. Toss the ball around. Each student must say the word that is facing up when he catches the ball. Repeat until each student has caught the ball a few times.
Wie wird gespielt: Wenn das Spiel beginnt, erscheint ein Ballon mit einem Bild auf dem Bildschirm. Gleichzeitig wird die Vokabel für das Bild genannt. Versuche, so oft wie möglich den hüpfenden Ballon anzuklicken. Für jeden Treffer bekommst du einen Punkt. Nachdem der erste Ballon den Bildschirm verlassen hat, erscheint ein neuer Ballon mit einem anderen Bild. Nach jedem neuen Ballon werden alle Vokabeln wiederholt, indem ein Wort genannt wird und der Ballon, auf dem das entsprechende Bild zu sehen ist, angeklickt werden muss. Auf diese Weise werden jeweils fünf bis sechs Wörter eingeführt.
Was wird gelernt: Diese Übung führt die Wörter eines Wortfeldes einzeln ein. Die Schüler lernen diese Vokabeln während des Spiels.
Wie klappt es am Besten: Wiederhole die Worte, die du hörst. Stell dir dabei zu jedem Wort das passende Bild vor.
Wie wird in der Gruppe geübt: Drucke die Bilder zu fünf oder sechs Wörtern aus und klebe sie auf einen Ball. Werft den Ball herum. Jeder Schüler muss das Wort sagen, das oben auf dem Ball ist, wenn er ihn fängt. Spielt bis jeder Schüler den Ball einige Male gefangen hat.
