How to play: Click any of the buttons to make it rain or snow, make it cloudy or windy. Use the scrollbar or click the thermometer to change the temperature. The boy will be dressed according to the weather. You can't make it rain or snow if there are no clouds.
What is learned: The student will learn the vocabulary for talking about the weather. Getting the most out of the activity: Click on the parts of the picture where you see a hand to learn the vocabulary words. Try to find as many different kinds of weather as you can. Make sure that you repeat the words and phrases that you hear. Group activities: Find pictures of different types of weather in a book or magazine. Practice saying the words to describe the weather. Select a country on a map or globe, or pick a month. Ask a child to tell what the weather is like in that place or that month.

Hoe werkt het: klik op één van de knoppen en laat het regenen, sneeuwen of waaien, je kunt het weer ook bewolkt maken. Gebruik de scrollbar (de verticale schuifbalk) of klik op de thermometer om de temperatuur te veranderen. De jongen zal zich kleden volgens het weer. Als er geen wolken zijn kan je het niet laten regenen of sneeuwen.
Wat leer je: de student leert woordenschat om te praten over het weer.
Haal zoveel mogelijk uit de activiteit: om woorden te leren kan je klikken op de delen van de afbeelding waar je een hand ziet. Probeer zoveel mogelijk verschillende weersoorten te vinden. Herhaal zeker de woorden en zinnen die je hoort.
Groepsactiviteiten: kijk in boeken of tijdschriften, zoek afbeeldingen van verschillende soorten weer. Oefen de woorden door het weer te beschrijven.
Kies een land op een kaart of op een globe of kies een maand. Vraag een kind om te vertellen hoe het weer is in die maand op die plaats.
